Set a Quiz

To set a quiz:

  1. In the Courses section of your Create tab, go to Create Courses and select the relevant course.
  2. Click the Add Content button and select Set a Quiz.
  3. Give the quiz a title and you will be taken to a new page.
  4. Click Add a question.
  5. Type your question into the text input field.
  6. Select the checkbox to randomise the order of the answers. Use the dropdown to select what happens when a user answers a question.
  7. Click Save.
  8. To add answers, click Add an answer. Type your answer into the text input field and click Save. Add as many answers that you need.
  9. To select the correct answer(s), click the pencil icon on the right side of the relevant answer box(es).
  10. Click the checkbox(es) on the left side of the correct answer(s) to activate it and click Save. You can select more than one correct answer.
  11. To set a passing mark for your quiz, click the pencil icon the Settings box at the top of the page.
    1. Enter the passing percentage. This is the percentage of questions that a user needs to get right to pass the quiz, i.e. 80% is getting 4 out of 5 questions right.
    2. Use the dropdown box to select whether a user needs to get a certain number of questions right to continue with the course.


NOTE: Please formulate your questions in a multiple-choice format only. Remember to provide a minimum of two answer choices for each question.
